I was on here for some reason or other, and realized that I never go on here any more, because I barely write any more, because Im working a 9-6 job and then have school and theater and all this stuff. And that made me sad. So, no more, I say! While I cant really work on Geisty at work, I CAN do this thing I wanted to do senior year with my Writers Workshop buddies. That fell through because I am a terrible teacher. STILL I PERSEVERE. And that brings us to...
The Challenge: Formats. All of em. Alphabetically, or else Id leave out stuff like Sapphic verse simply because its a bitch to write. The list I'm using is diluted from
here and from a book of forms I have. Both are really awesome; that website is a fabulous tool if you're like me and all your books are currently in boxes.
The Point: I write really shitty poetry, and would like to remedy that, and perhaps find a niche. Even if I dont, Ill have subjected everyone I know to amusingly shitty poetry, and thats always good for karma.
The Catch: I have to have something posted by the end of each day (12:00 am), beginning Spring semester (next Monday), until I get to the end of the list (and its a list of 83). More than one OK, less than one NO WAY heehee I rhyme. Im going to cut myself some slack, and post the ones I really hate, or dont finish right away (some of these are meant to be really long, and I want to do it right) in Scraps, but while I might repost revisions, there has to be a new form up every day. Why? Because otherwise Ill never really do this.
ALSO, I am moving out in like, a week, and that could affect my internet access; I dont know yet as Im not there yet. If it does, Ill post from school.
If anyone has a topic they want me to touch on, give a holler.
And I have more Zeitgeist, but it's all over the place, and in need of some serious sit-down time, which I just haven't had. If anyone has archived copies of early stuff I wrote that's not on here any more, that'd be appreciated too, since my logic board blew on my iBook and I didn't manage to save everything.
